Proofing

Proofing is highly recommended when you want to make sure that your submitted images will look their best as final prints. It is also recommended when you are ordering a large quantity of prints.

Proofs are printed on the canvas/paper that you ordered and then are mailed to you via first class.

Proofing is a one time fee charged on a per-image basis.

Single Proof: $10.50

We take your original image and print a small, approx. 4" x 5" image as well as a 2.5" x 5" detail at full size.

Double Proof: $18.50

We take your original image and print a small, approx. 4" x 5" image as well as a 2.5" x 5" detail at full size.

We then take that same image and adjust it to provide you with an alternate that may in some way improve its color and range from light to dark.

Match Proof: starting at $35

We adjust your image according to a "match" or reference print or the original provided by you.

Proofing for aluminum prints is as follows: Single Proof $15, Double Proof $25, Match Proof starts at $50

Dropshipping

Dropshipping (white label, blind shipping, etc) is available on every order you place, for no additional charge. This allows you to ship packages directly to your collectors, without any of our information present. The shipping label on the package will have your information as the sender, and your customers information as the delivery address. There will never be any invoice or any Picture Salon branding included in the packages, they will appear as if they came directly from you.

To indicate you want an order Dropshipped, simply change the delivery information to your customers name and address when placing the order, and we will handle the rest, it’s that easy!

If you would like us to include promotional items in your dropshipping packages (business cards, stickers, postcards, etc.), simply send them in to us, and when placing your order, add a note saying “Please include branding”. Please keep these items to 5”x7” and below, and remember that depending on the size / type of item ordered, it may go in a box or a tube, so the material should be somewhat flexible.

We will be adding custom branding packages in the future, where you will be able to order them directly from us, but for now, we are allowing you to send in your own, at no charge.

Original Art Capture

Scanning Original Art

Scanning / Photographing your original artwork will produce stunning reproductions. It is usually very difficult to tell them from the original. Depending on the individual attributes of each original, we will determine whether scanning or photographing will yield better results.

Framing

We offer framing services for both paper prints and canvas orders.

All frames are custom cut to your order specifications, and are assembled in house. We use high quality mouldings, archival mats and offer 3 grades of acrylic glass.

Matting

We custom cut any size mat you need! We only carry the highest quality acid free, archival mats. Please go to our matting page to see what colors we offer.

If you have special requests like double mats, different colors, or anything else, please reach out via email, or add a note on to your order, and we will reach out. All mats must be ordered with a print. We do not sell mats alone.

Photo Retouching

Photo retouching is available on an hourly basis. We charge in 15 minute increments and our hourly rate is $75.

Dry Mounting

There are two different mounting services available for any size up to 40"x60":

• Foam core - 3/16" thick
• Gatorboard - 3/16" thick(temporarily unavailable)
• We also have acid free foam core.

Laminating

Laminating is an excellent way to protect your prints from handling, moisture, or whatever else life throws at them.

We use a 3ml laminate which is available in either gloss or matte. When laminating a paper print, it will be encapsulated, covered on both front and back, with about 1/8th - 1/4 inch of clear plastic border. If laminating a dry mounted piece, just the top will be laminated, and there will be no plastic border.

We only recommend laminating Enhanced Matte paper prints, as any texture in the paper can create micro air bubbles. In addition, laminating a print will no longer allow it to be considered archival.

Print Sleeves

We offer clear print sleeves that range in size from 4" x 6" to 32" x 40". Sleeves have folding adhesive flaps.

Backing Boards/Foam Core

We custom cut backing boards and foam core to fit virtually any size you need! Backing boards and both foam core options are available up to 40”x60”. Backing boards are 4 ply thick, foam core is 3/16” thick.

Card Sleeves

Individual card sleeves are available for 5" x 7", 5" x 5" and 4" x 6" sizes. Sleeves have folding adhesive flaps.

Card Boxes

Our card boxes come available in 5" x 7", 5" x 5" and 4" x 6" sizes. Five to seven card/envelopes can be placed in each box.
